Nh Collection Madrid Abascal Hotel

Spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast. Location just next door to several different metro, many restaurants and 3 different metro lines, and lots of good restaurants in the neighbourhood. For shots visit Poncelet Cheese Bar, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel.

The breakfast is excellent, includes a great selection of meals. The room is elegant and with a private safe, a minibar and central heating.

We had two standard rooms, both on the upper floors. The quality of the rooms was great, very good beds, high quality equipment of the bathrooms. Excellent breakfast, the best we have ever had. The ambience of the hotel is very nice, modern and old well combined. We felt very comfortable. 4 stars plus! Easy access from the airport.

Great location, great staff, they helped us with everything including direction to a good restaurant and keeping our bags until the flight we had in the evening after check out. They had a welcome pack, clean bathrooms, it was warm in the night.

The rooms we're a little small.

The breakfast selection was diverse and delicious, catering to all tastes.

The air conditioning in the room struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature.

The hotel itself was very well appointed, and clean.

The price of the buffet breakfast was somewhat over the top.

has no good conect to intrnet and the sheets never been changed ....and hair driyer doesnt work

A Nice Stay with Really good Service

During my 4-night stay, the warm hospitality stood out. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast served by a diligent team, particularly Rebeca and Azucena, who made each morning good. Explore nearby tapas bars for a true taste of local cuisine. Don't miss the charming ambiance in the dining area at night.

The hotel is fine, but is quite impersonal and more for business customers. There are few local bars and tapas places in the area, and although the metro is only about 7 mins walk away it is a few changes to get to Sol/ La Latina in the evening and also the main art galleries in the day.

Breakfast prices! Go to a great cafe called Bam just around the corner for pastries and coffee.

Location was great.

No Iron, No hot water kettle, laundry cost are way too high. Internet is slow and the log in process every 24 hours is annoying

The location is perfect.

1. Uncomfortable bed. I had the worst night's sleep ever experienced. The bed was noisy, uneven, and simply awful. 2. No irons. I needed to iron my shirt for a business meeting the next day am had to pay 12 Euros for Housekeeping to do it for me. I am very capable of ironing a shirt and think it awful that a hotel cannot loan out irons.

my room was dark and really smell cold tobacco , it was awful! the hotel applies a non smoking policy but it was obvious that this room is used by smokers, it was not just a few cigarettes during a recent stay. even after opening the windows for several hours it was still smelling. andf I am a smoker myself so I can say...

Welcomegift of fruitsalad and water.

Welcomegift and the room was setup for only one person, ie one towel, one toothbrush. Cleaner woke us up in the morning and walked into the room! Instead of apoligizing, she only said in an angry voice that she had nocked. What a behaviour!!
